ROBOTIC ASSISTANT
In this project, I integrated a Mecanum Wheels Robot Platform with a 3D printed Robotic Arm, enabling automatic operation through an Android application. By enhancing the app to control both the wheels and arm, I improved stability by replacing sliders with buttons for joint control. Notably, the project allows storing and repeating movements, showcasing the robot's autonomous capabilities. Detailed assembly instructions, including servo mounting and gripper mechanism setup, were provided. Additionally, a custom PCB design with a voltage regulator and heat sink was incorporated to manage the servo motors.
Collision Avoidance in Mobile Robot using Python and Generative AI
In this project, I explored collision avoidance for mobile robots using generative AI tools and simulation techniques. By implementing differential drive, sensor models, and Kalman filters, the project navigated the complexities of robot movement. While showcasing the elegance of obstacle avoidance through right-turn bias, it also highlighted challenges in multi-agent coordination. The use of cutting-edge generative AI tools for code development and visualization underscored the potential and limitations of AI in this domain, hinting at uncharted territories for future innovations.
